During the annual Labour Day March held on 4th May 2026 in Barcaldine, we representatives from the Australian Workers’ Union (AWU), and Electrical Trades Union QLD/NT, Queensland Teachers’ Union (QTU), and United Workers Union, walking alongside locals and visitors honoured the legacy of past struggles and acknowledging the role of today’s workforce.
